Set up in 2013, Auckland Seaplanes is an award winning aviation company. After only 3 years in 2016 we were a finalist for the New Zealand Tourism Award, which we won in 2017.
We hold the highest quality rating - Qualmark Gold- and are the first ISO certified carbon-zero air operator in Australasia. Since 2016 our emissions are offset via audited reforestation projects. Auckland Seaplanes also holds a “Pest free Warrant” from the New Zealand Department of Conservation allowing us to access many unique and protected islands. Our environmental best practice was recognized by being named a finalist for ‘The Meaningful Travel Award” in Sydney in 2017.
Our aerodrome is the most convenient departure point for passengers given its walking distance from many hotels, the main shopping district and its good connection to the public transport/ferry network. Our base is designed to keep you comfortable and well informed at all times.
Auckland Seaplanes has transported passengers from six months to 99 years of age and the only physical requirement to join our flights is the ability to - with assistance- climb two steps.
